The PGPQS course will be offered through contact classes. The contact classes may be conducted at AIQM’s own centers or through franchisees on part-time basis or full-time basis subject to a minimum of forty hours of instructional-study and twenty hours of self-study per subject for each of the 12 subjects.

Students will be encouraged to participate in Industrial visits from time to time.

The focus of the AIQM PGPQS Course is to inculcate among the students such perceptions, knowledge, skills and abilities as would enable them to achieve higher levels of managerial responsibilities and improve profitability for their organization.

It is specially designed to impart quality management, environmental management and safety management skills to working professionals and owners of business organizations and other individuals so as to enhance effectiveness of their current role.

The PGPQS course consists of twelve subjects (modules) which will be presented in class. These are independent subjects requiring in-depth study by the student and to be completed over a period of six to twelve months.

Typically, the course-structure requires that six subjects are completed in the first term (three to six months) and balance six subjects are completed in second term (three to six months) depending on the number of hours devoted
to each subject per week.

An optimum mix of Lectures, Case – studies, Exercises and Quizzes is adopted as the standard teaching – methodology.

As part of homework, the student has to prepare replies to specific questions / exercises given by the faculty from time to time. These are to be discussed later in class and faculty gives their feedback indicating areas of improvement.

Experts from industries are invited from time to time, for providing additional inputs to students.

The student is at liberty to revert with any doubts throughout the currency of the programme.

Course material is designed on the basis of faculty's work-experience in industry and experience gained through consultancy.

Case studies are based on live cases observed by the faculty.

The Academic Council meets once in six months to discuss and review the training materials.

Feedback received from students and employers forms the base for continual improvement in the training materials.

Essentially the mode of delivery is by contact classes.
